Every week a number of furkids become part of Bichon FurKids. They are in foster care - and some are not yet listed on our web site. While these little ones are living in homes with their foster families, these new FurKids are receiving lots of love, learning how to walk on leashes, ride in cars, frolic in the grass - and experiencing being around children, other dogs and sometimes cats! Our goal is for them to become the very best dogs that they can be - and to find their Forever Homes as soon as they are ready.
We add new FurKids to our family each week - so please check back often.

The Boxer Rescue Project Mission
- Fundraising efforts to provide support to local rescues with an emphasis in helping Boxers and Boxer-blends. (Garage sales, silent auction events, Boxer calendars)
- To "broker" Boxers for adoption through word-of-mouth, volunteering, and networking; connecting Boxers with families, friends, rescues, all in an effort to provide quality lives and happy owners -- the right Boxer with the right individual/family.
- Helping to educate individuals in the community (one dog-park-excursion at a time) on how to manage their Boxers and do what it takes to keep Boxers in healthy, loving environments.
Simply put, it's a project -- not a large foundation, not a non-profit, not a major organization with a board of directors. It's just me along with a few Boxer-lovin' friends, raising money for our local rescue groups -- keepin' it local -- for the love of Boxers!

Chihuahua Rescue of San Diego is dedicated to rescuing and caring for homeless, abandoned and injured Chihuahuas. We provide medical attention, loving foster homes and adoption counseling in an effort to find our adoptable dogs the most suitable forever homes.
Chihuahuas are one of the most over-represented breeds in San Diego shelters, and we are committed to reducing this statistic by increasing spay/neuter awareness in our community.

Coastal German Shepherd Rescue of Southern California is a non-profit 501(c)3 public charity dedicated to finding loving homes for abandoned German Shepherds. Your tax deductible donations go to support these very deserving animals. Coastal was formed to serve communities in the counties of San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles and the Inland Empire.
Coastal is dedicated to providing new beginnings for homeless German Shepherds who have been abandoned, neglected, abused, relinquished by their owners or just left at local shelters to await an uncertain future.
We are committed to finding loving permanent homes for the Orphaned dogs in our care. Coastal is an all volunteer, no-kill, non profit organization.
Our mission is to educate the public about German Shepherds, their lifespan, personality, activity level, along with overall responsible dog ownership. We also raise awareness of over population of animals through education, training, spaying and neutering. We work very hard to match each dog with the adoptive families.
All prospective adoptive families must complete an on line application followed by a telephone interview and then receive a home visit before a German Shepherd is placed in their forever home.

Most corgis come into our rescue because of a lack of attention or training. If you have lots of time and love to share with a special corgi, adopting a corgi from rescue may be right for you.
The majority of the corgis adopted through our rescue are age 3 and older. All rescue corgis are spayed or neutered and are current on their vaccinations, before adoption. Each corgi is also evaluated, to help us identify the right home.
If a corgi in our rescue seems like a match for an applicant, a home visit is done prior to adoption. This visit helps confirm the home is the right match for the rescue corgi.
A donation is requested at the time of adoption. This ranges from $100 to $300, based on the age of the corgi.
