The La Biscotteria bakery is located in Redwood City, California, the hometown of its owner and founder, Augustine Buonocore. The business continues to operate as a wholesale bakery, but the mystique of the commercial oddity was dispelled in October 2003 when the bakery opened its exquisitely etched glass door to the public.

     La Biscotteria is a descriptive name - revealing its unique purpose and Italian heritage.  At the heart of La Biscotteria     is a family legacy honoring tradition and celebrating               "La Famiglia".   The business objective is to protect and safeguard authentic handwritten recipes, handed down through generations. These recipes have permitted La Biscotteria to share the flavors of a traditional Neapolitan heritage with the world.
